B.B. King’s Blues Club Wins Best BBQ Sauce in Cooking Competition…and Victory’s Kitchen Best Supporting Supplier…

March 12, 2012 (Toronto, Ontario) – BB King’s Blues Club is the proud winner of the WIRK’s Rib Round Up’s prestigious Best Sauce Award. Despite fierce competition from local favorites, BB King’s Famous Rib Sauce won the day.

“BB King’s has been working hard to perfect the correct balance of tanginess, smokiness, sweetness and spiciness for over 18 years now”, said Regional Director Curtis Peery. “This is yet another affirmation that our hard work has paid off”.

BB King’s Culinary Director Chef Mimi Bean, and Corporate Chef Carl Barnard, worked closely with Victory’s Kitchen to have BB King’s Signature BBQ Sauce made and bottled in Victory’s state of the art production plant. “Working with Chefs Mimi and Carl was an absolute pleasure”, says Allan Kliger, Victory’s President. “The BB King’s brand is iconic. Working with Mimi and Carl, who are so passionate about what they do, was wonderful. Besides, how much better does it get than doing product reviews while listening to the great BB King himself performing live!”
